From Adelaide’s rooftop to a Freycinet villa: the hotels worth the second half of 2026
Little National Adelaide opened on 1 September. Here is what follows it before the year is out.

Adelaide gets the first new key of the season. Little National opened on 1 September with 237 rooms and a rooftop bar looking across the city, built on the brand’s idea of precisely planned rooms rather than sprawling ones.
In Sydney’s west, QT Parramatta is due late in the year with 65 design-led suites and a rooftop infinity pool, and is billed as the first five-star hotel in Greater Western Sydney.
The Yarra Valley gets Levantine Hill Hotel, 33 suites set partly into the hillside with a 1.5-kilometre sculpture walk. On the Central Coast hinterland, Grand Saddles Lodge at Mount White plans 20 private villas, each with a plunge pool.
December brings two headline openings. Andaz Gold Coast arrives in Broadbeach with 202 rooms and suites, and Saffire Freycinet opens the Jewell, a three-bedroom private villa with its own infinity pool facing The Hazards.
