Guest House springs the Golden Slipper
The Victorian colt won the $5 million two-year-old classic at Rosehill on his first Sydney run.

Guest House won the 2026 Golden Slipper at Rosehill on 21 March, the $5 million, 1200-metre race for two-year-olds that is the richest of its kind in the world.
The colt by Home Affairs, trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr and ridden by Zac Lloyd, started at double-figure odds. He had won on debut at Cranbourne in December, then lost twice at Caulfield.
He beat Streisand by 1.37 lengths, with Music Time third at long odds. Lloyd said the colt let down so well once a run came; Kent called it a big, going-away win.
Coolmore Australia has since secured the colt, a sign of his value as a future stallion.
