Nick Daicos wins the Brownlow with a record 47 votes
The Collingwood midfielder broke the 3-2-1-era record and finished eleven votes clear.

Nick Daicos won his first Brownlow Medal at Crown Palladium on 21 September with 47 votes, beating Patrick Cripps’s record of 45 in the 3-2-1 era.
Bailey Smith was second on 36, Marcus Bontempelli third on 34 and Max Gawn fourth on 28. Brisbane and Fremantle players joined the count remotely, five days before they meet in the grand final.
Conor McKenna won Goal of the Year, Nick Watson Mark of the Year, and Bailey Banfield the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award.
